The smaller 800 ml option has a unique shape we very much appreciate for side pocket packing, but the high capacity of this canteen makes it a better choice for most people. This is ideal for keeping coffee hot until after lunch or for keeping your water ice cold and refreshing on a hot day. It will keep water hot for 6+ hours and will keep ice-water freezing cold for 6+ hours also, which is all you really need when camping and hiking.
At just 308 grams, the Lixida Insulated bottle is lightweight and will hold an impressive 450 ml which is the same as a very large cup of coffee and lasts me until after lunchtime if I have a morning coffee around 6.30 am. Something I love about this titanium bottle is that it comes with a tea strainer or infuser insert, which can be used with filter paper for coffee, loose-leaf tea, or for infusing fruits with your water. This is not something other bottles include and is a nice touch you might not expect when you buy it.
VERDICT: If you like to make coffee in the morning and drink it throughout the day, then this is an incredibly lightweight titanium bottle for the task. Similarly, if you like to keep your water ice-cold for maximum refreshment, then this is far more efficient than a single-wall titanium water bottle and lasts the best part of half a day before it starts to warm.
You can also get a 500 ml option, but for one person, I prefer the size and shape of this model and would recommend it if you are set on taking a flask camping.
iBasingo Titanium Water Bottle

The iBasingo Titanium Water Bottle comes in 4 sizes ranging from 400 ml to this one at 1050 ml, which helps if you are looking for a specific size. I really like the 1+ liter bottles because they are easy to balance in your backpack side pockets with another 1-liter plastic bottle on the other side. This is great for easy access and means you can carry 2 liters of water and always have a bottle you can use to boil water.
I really like the handle on the lid, which makes carrying it on one finger comfortable and allows you to fasten it to the outside of your pack. You should never boil water with the lid on, so you can’t use it to hang over a fire, but the thickened titanium walls are ideal for boiling water on a fire or stove. The weight is pretty decent, but there are lighter options out there at around 250 grams. You can’t really complain.
VERDICT: While this is a perfectly fine titanium water bottle for camping, backpacking, and hiking, I would still choose a Vargo bottle over this due to the weight-saving and build quality. I believe it is made by Boundless Voyage specializes in titanium outdoor gear and is a fairly reputable brand. Still, this wouldn’t be my top-pick titanium water bottle.
What to Look for in a Titanium Water Bottle?
You may be primarily focused on how much water it can hold and how much it weighs, but here are all the considerations we made in this test.
Titanium Water Bottle Walls
Single wall vs double-walled titanium water bottles, which is best? Depending on whether you want to keep the contents of your flask hot or cold will determine which kind of bottle to get.
Hot drinks and ice-cold water will maintain their temperature for far longer in a double-walled, insulated, and vacuum-sealed titanium water bottle than they would in a single-wall design. The benefit of single-wall titanium containers is that you can boil water in them, which under no circumstances can you do with a double-wall design.
Titanium Water Bottle Lid
The best titanium water bottles all have lids made from the same material as the body to ensure that the entire interior of the bottle is fully titanium. It definitely helps when tightening and unscrewing the lid to have an attachment loop or ring that you can use as a lever to untighten the seal.
